Deep Gladness, Deep Hunger

On the other hand, if your work is being a doctor in a leper colony, you have probably met (b), but if most of the time you're bored and depressed by it, the chances are you haven't only bypassed (a) but probably aren't helping your patients much either....The piece God calls you to is the place where your deep gladness and the world's deep hunger meet."

Let us find our deep gladness in what we do everyday to meet the world's deep hunger..
In whatever we do, we do it for God's glory.
Let us be happy with our work we do everyday,
so we can be a blessing to others.

We may not be the ones who are in the action field of disasters and poverties,
but we can still make a difference in what we do everyday.
